Southeast NGU FAQ

What is Southeast NGU?

We are a community-based organization aligned with Unity Worldwide Ministries focused on bring young adults (18-35 years old) together for spiritual connection. With the help of our enthusiastic staff, we organize events twice a year, monthly online hangouts, volunteer projects, and motivational social media presence.

What do we believe?

Southeast NGU is aligned with Unity Worldwide Ministries. We practice the five Unity Principles and take a holistic approach to spirituality in a way that works for the young-adult life. We focus on becoming our highest good and bettering the world around us. Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual’s right to choose a spiritual path. We are truly inclusive, so no matter where you are from, who you love, or what you believe, you are loved and accepted here. 

What does NGU Stand for?

NGU stands for Next Generation Unity. We are the next generations of leaders. Southeast is where we are based; but we are welcoming to anyone regardless of where you live. 

Who can join?

Anyone that falls in the age group of 18 to 35 years-old. You do not have to currently attend Unity or be a former Y.O.U.er to attend our retreats. We are an inclusive organization open to all walks of life.


To Attend Retreats

  • Must be 18-35 years old
  • Must follow all Heart Agreements 
  • Must be able and willing to sign our Medical Release Form

What if I don't live in the Southeast?

Southeast NGU is a national organization, but we are centered in the Southeast. If you live outside the Southeast of the United States and would like to attend our Online events or in-person retreats, you are welcomed to!
